Job summary

Ferrovial is seeking a Construction Laborer to perform manual labor on our project site. The role involves installing sediment and erosion control measures, maintaining drainage structures, and handling materials on a dynamic schedule.

The candidate should be able to perform basic math, work physically demanding hours, and demonstrate dexterity in handling equipment and materials on site.

Qualifications

• Basic arithmetic using money, weight, volume and distance.
• Ability to perform operations with two-digit numbers.
• Extensive physical activity as part of daily work.
• Manual dexterity to handle materials and tools.

Responsibilities

• Install and maintain sediment control fence.
• Install and maintain erosion control logs.
• Install and maintain rock filter dams.
• Pick up trash and debris from drainage inlets.
• Clean up spills of hydrocarbon containing liquids.
• Remove built-up sediment from erosion control devices.
• Secure materials and equipment for transport around the project.
• Perform other duties as required.
