Sundt Construction is seeking a physical, safety-minded individual to assist skilled craft workers on industrial/construction projects in Phoenix, AZ. You will learn to perform tasks across crafts, follow foreman directions, and contribute to efficient, high-quality outcomes in varying conditions.

This role emphasizes safety, teamwork, and a willingness to learn from experienced tradespeople. Candidates should have basic math skills, good communication, and the ability to use PPE as required.

Qualifications

• NCCER Core Curriculum or High School diploma or equivalent preferred.
• 1 year experience (Level I), 2 years (Level II), 3+ years in industrial/commercial construction preferred.
• Effective verbal and written communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Assist skilled craft workers in performing their assigned duties.
• Develop safe work practices and learn to use tools and equipment.
• Eliminate waste by reducing waiting, rework, and unnecessary movements.
• Follow directions from foremen and higher skilled workers.
• Maintain positive working relationships with crew members.
• Produce high quality work safely and efficiently.
