Sundt Construction seeks a motivated helper to assist skilled craft workers across trades. You will support tasks, learn safety practices, and coordinate with foremen to ensure quality results on a busy construction site.

This entry/level role offers on-site training and opportunities to advance within Sundt’s employee-owned culture. The position emphasizes safety, teamwork, and learning the fundamentals of industrial construction, with a focus on efficiency and high-quality workmanship.

Qualifications

• NCCER Core Curriculum and/or high school diploma or equivalent.
• 1 year experience (level I), 2 years’ experience (level II) and 3+ years in industrial/construction preferred.
• Effective verbal and written communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Perform math tasks such as addition, subtraction, multiplication and division.
• Eliminate waste and improve efficiency across tasks.
• Ask a supervisor if unsure about safety or tasks before continuing.
• Learn safety hazards related to the work and how to mitigate them.
• Safely use or operate tools and equipment related to the work.
• Maintain positive relationships on the crew and produce high-quality work.
• Provide feedback to ensure materials and tools are ready for the work.
