Construction Laborer/Carpenter

Mark Young Construction, LLC (MYC) is seeking Construction Laborers/Carpenters to join our growing team. This role involves working closely with on-site leadership, subcontractors, and project teams across various projects throughout the year.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Sweep and keep the jobsite, conex, and trailer clean and free of debris and safety hazards.
• Maintain tools and equipment, including organizing, inventory, and daily setup and takedown.
• Assist construction crews with moving and staging materials.
• Strip and organize forms.
• Construct, erect, and install structures using carpentry hand tools, power tools, and woodworking machines for commercial projects.
• Set trusses, cut footings and foundation walls, and layout and form concrete steps and ramps.
• Operate and understand laser levels, theodolites, and building levels.
• Perform finish carpentry tasks such as installing chair rails, caps, trims, and cabinets.
• Follow directions from Superintendents, Engineers, and Foremen.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications & Requirements:

• Strong desire to collaborate with other trades on projects.
• Basic knowledge of framing or other construction trades and techniques.
• Ability to obtain certifications such as OSHA 10-hour, forklift, aerial/basket lift, scissor lift, first aid, and CPR.
• Own basic hand tools (nail bags, square, level, chalk box, etc.).
• Effective communication skills with managers and vendors.
• Reliable transportation to and from work and ability to travel along the Front Range.
