Stratford Homes LP is seeking a Construction Laborer / Carpenter for the Day Shift in Stratford, Wisconsin. The role involves working Monday through Friday from 6:00 AM to 2:20 PM, with starting pay at $21.50 per hour based on construction experience.

You will help assemble and finish modular homes using lumber, basic power tools, and precise tape measurements. The ideal candidate has carpentry experience, reads plans, and contributes to framing, roofing, siding, flooring, and finishing tasks.

Qualifications

• Experience in carpentry/construction including DIY projects or school/work experience.
• Able to read and use a tape measure accurately.
• Hand and power tool experience.
• High school diploma or GED equivalent.

Responsibilities

These positions play key roles in the assembly and construction of modular homes. The ideal candidates will have experience working with lumber, basic power tools, and a solid understanding of how to accurately read and use a tape measure.

Preferred Education and Experience:

• Graduation from high school or GED equivalent.

Required Experience:

• Accurate and efficient use of a tape measure.
• Ability to identify lumber dimensions.

Physical Demands:

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is frequently required to kneel, squat, stoop, twist, etc. The employee frequently works with arms extended and raised, frequently walks along rafters and climbs ladders. Occasionally the employee will lift and carry heavy loads. The employee walks and stands for long periods of time and performs strenuous physical labor. The employee lifts, pushes, pulls or carries objects. The position requires good manual dexterity and eye-hand coordination.
