Job summary

The Walsh Group is seeking a Common Laborer for placement on Marana WRF Phase II in Tucson, Arizona. The role involves physical labor on construction sites including commercial, industrial or heavy civil projects, with use of hand and power tools as needed; prepare the site and assist with other duties as assigned.

Responsibilities include supporting crews, loading/unloading supplies, and maintaining a clean, safe work area while following all safety policies and procedures to complete projects

Qualifications

• Experience in construction preferred.
• Ability to climb and balance on scaffold/ladder.
• Lift up to 50 lbs and work in varied weather.
• Adhere to safety policies and communicate with crew.
• Strong work ethic and desire to learn.
• Good manual dexterity for prolonged tasks.
• Pass pre-employment drug screening.

Responsibilities

• Perform tasks involving physical labor as instructed by supervisor.
• Operate hand and power tools such as drills and hammers.
• Clean and prepare sites, erect scaffolding and dispose of debris.
• Load and unload construction supplies at the site.
