Qualifications

• Previous experience in construction labor preferred but not required.
• Ability to work effectively as part of a team and follow instructions from supervisors.
• Physical ability to perform demanding tasks, including lifting up to 50 pounds.
• Willingness to work outdoors in a variety of weather conditions.
• Strong work ethic, reliability, and attention to safety.
• Basic knowledge of hand and power tool operation preferred.
• Dependable, self-motivated, and task-oriented.

Responsibilities

• Perform tasks involving physical labor on heavy civil construction projects
• Assist concrete, drainage, and retaining wall crews as needed
• Load and unload materials and equipment safely and efficiently
• Flag and direct traffic passing near, in, or around work zones
• Set up and maintain traffic control devices
• Operate hand and power tools as required
• Clean and prepare construction sites to eliminate possible hazards
• Work safely in all weather conditions, including heat, cold, rain, and wind
• Lift, push, and/or pull items weighing up to 50 pounds
• Follow all company safety guidelines and participate in safety meetings
• Perform other labor-related duties as assigned by the supervisor
