Job description

Construction Laborer

Pay: $20-24/hr.

Hours:Mon-Thu (3:30pm to 2am) - Must be able to train on 1st shift for 2-4 weeks

Description:

  • The Construction Laborerwill assist in the assembly of enclosure systems. This will require knowledge and understanding of reading a tape measure and blueprints.

Requirements:

  • Ability to accurately read and interpret blueprints (test will be required)
  • Ability to accurately read and interpret a tape measure (test will be required).
  • Ability to follow written and verbal work instructions.
  • Construction/ Building experience a plus
  • Ability to lift and maneuver metal components a minimum of 50 lbs
  • Flexibility to work in other related departments as required.
  • Some overhead crane experience is a plus.

Job Duties:

  • Read and work off blueprints
  • Follow written and verbal work instructions
  • Lift and maneuver metal components a minimum of 50 lbs.
  • Read and interpret a basic tape measure
  • Proficient use of basic hand tools such as grinder, cut-off wheel, and magnetic drill.
  • Assemble large metal enclosures.
