Are you ready to make an impactful difference? Nwestco is seeking a highly motivated Construction Laborer to join our dynamic team. Dive into a role where you will play a pivotal role in the successful execution of our projects, ensuring the highest standards of quality and safety are maintained at all times.

This full-time opportunity is based in Spokane, WA.

The pay range is $20-25/hr depending on experience and includes benefits.

Your Mission:

  1. Assist with site preparation, including setting up and removing temporary structures and tools.
  2. Operate a variety of hand tools and construction equipment.
  3. Load, unload, and transport construction materials.
  4. Mix, pour, and spread concrete, asphalt, and other materials.
  5. Follow all safety procedures on the job site and report any unsafe practices or conditions to the site supervisor.
  6. Assist skilled tradespeople in their duties as needed.
  7. Perform daily site clean-up to maintain a safe and organized work environment.
  8. Communicate effectively with team members to ensure tasks are completed efficiently.
  9. Perform other duties as assigned by the supervisor.

What You Bring to the Table:

  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Previous construction or labor experience.
  • Experience with heavy equipment (skid steer, backhoe, etc.) and towing trailers.
  • Ability to operate construction tools and machinery.
  • Strong physical stamina and ability to lift heavy objects.
  • Good communication and teamwork skills.
  • Reliable and punctual.
  • Knowledge of construction safety procedures and best practices.
  • Strong desire to learn quickly.

Before You Leap:

  • Some positions may require travel and overnight stays, with expenses covered by Nwestco, LLC.
  • All offers are contingent upon passing a pre-employment physical, including lifting (up to 75 lb), twisting, pulling, kneeling, and squatting.
  • A valid driver's license with a clean record over the past 5 years is required.
  • Positions classified as safety-sensitive require passing a comprehensive drug screening, including testing for marijuana, as per federal regulations and company policies.
