Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Perform general labor duties such as shoveling, grading, trenching, compacting, and site cleanup.
• Assist with installation of pipe, drainage systems, concrete, and other construction materials.
• Operate hand and power tools safely and effectively.
• Load, unload, and move materials, tools, and equipment as directed.
• Set up and maintain traffic control devices and warning signs as needed.
• Follow directions from Foremen and Superintendents to support daily production goals.
• Adhere to all company and OSHA safety policies and procedures.
• Report potential hazards, unsafe conditions, and equipment issues promptly.
• Perform other related duties as assigned.

The Construction Laborer performs a variety of physical and manual tasks to support field operations on heavy civil construction projects. This position assists equipment operators, foremen, and other crew members to ensure projects are completed safely, efficiently, and on schedule.
