Position Summary

The Construction Laborer plays a vital role in Heavy/Civil Construction by performing diverse tasks such as site preparation, material handling, and equipment operation. Emphasizing safety, reliability, and teamwork, this position ensures high-quality results and contributes to the success of construction projects in dynamic outdoor environments.

Responsibilities

• Comply with all safety policies and procedures, reporting all accidents, incidents, and near misses to ensure adherence to our core value of safety.
• Understand and follow all company safety policies and procedures.
• Prepare construction sites to eliminate hazards.
• Excavate by hand, backfill excavations, or level earth to grade specifications using appropriate tools.
• Position, join, align, or seal structural components such as concrete wall sections or pipes.
• Handle building materials, machinery, or tools, distributing them according to project plans.
• Set up or dismantle forms for pouring concrete.
• Complete equipment reports on rack trucks and compressors.
• Understand and apply safe and proper use of tools and equipment.
• Maintain organized and clean tool trailers.

Qualifications

• 2-5 years of Heavy/Civil Construction experience.
• Ability to follow verbal instructions.
• Good health and flexibility to perform physical tasks.
• Ability to work strenuous hours in various weather conditions.
