Job summary

Heimes Corp in Omaha, Nebraska is seeking full-time Construction Laborers to support directional drilling, pipe laying, and crushing crews. The role is physically demanding, requiring shoveling, bending, stooping, and the ability to carry heavy loads. Prior construction experience helps, but training is available, and a valid driver's license is preferred.

Employees must pass a pre-employment drug screen and comply with DOT regulations. E-Verify is used for eligibility.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Assist directional drilling crews with underground placement of fiber/pipe.
• Assist pipe laying crews to install water, storm, and sanitary mains.
• Support crushing crews and operate/cradle equipment as needed.
• Follow safety procedures and DOT/compliance requirements on site.
• Be willing to train and perform closely supervised tasks.

Job description

Construction Laborers are needed. Heimes Corporation is seeking qualified personnel to assist: directional drilling crews in to place fiber optic and coax underground, pipelaying crews to place water storm and sanitary main in the ground, crushing crews to assist in maintenance and the operation of crushing equipment. Heimes Corporation is a construction company based out of Omaha, Nebraska. Heimes Corp. provides a wide range of services including but not limited to: Excavating, Underground Utilities, Recycled Concrete, Plumbing, Directional Drilling, Fiber Splicing Underground Storage Tanks, Wrecking, Transportation, and Hazardous Materials Cleanup/Hauling (ESI).

Immediate full time positions for laborers in assisting our directional drilling, pipe, and crushing divisions. Job is physically intense and requires shoveling, bending, stooping, and carrying over 50lbs. Experience working construction is preferred, but we are willing to train. A valid driver's license with a good driving record is preferred. It is also helpful if candidate has heavy equipment operating experience.

Must be able to pass a pre-employment drug screen and abide by DOT regulations. Zero tolerance policy for cell phone use while behind the wheel (including hands free devices). We utilize the E-Verify system for employment eligibility. For construction safety reasons applicant must speak and understand the English language.

Pay varies depending on previous experience.
