Job summary

Essel Environmental is currently seeking Construction Laborers for active projects in Monterey Park, CA. You will support site preparation, material handling, and general cleanup while collaborating with site supervisors and skilled trades.

Ideal candidates are dependable, hardworking, and comfortable working in a fast-paced environment on active construction sites. Training and supervision will accompany you as you assist with various labor tasks across ongoing projects.

Responsibilities

• Perform general construction site cleanup and maintain a safe, organized work environment
• Assist with heavy lifting and moving materials such as lumber, drywall, concrete, and equipment
• Load and unload construction materials, tools, and supplies
• Remove debris and dispose of materials according to site safety guidelines
• Assist skilled trades when needed (carpenters, electricians, plumbers, etc.)
• Set up and break down job site equipment and materials
• Perform other general labor duties as assigned by the site supervisor
