Job summary

Perma Jack of St. Louis is seeking a Laborer to join our team in Manchester, MO. You will load and unload materials, travel with the crew to client sites, excavate, and prepare job sites while maintaining safety and quality standards.

We offer year-round work, a competitive salary based on experience, vacation/PTO, and weekly pay. You will use top tools and receive training to support your growth in the construction industry.

Qualifications

• Construction experience preferred but not required.
• Experience with trenching, excavating, piers, concrete work, sump pumps and drainage preferred but not mandatory.
• Must have a valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
• Ability to lift up to 80 lbs safely.
• Willingness to work in confined spaces and outdoors in varying weather conditions.

Responsibilities

• Load and off-load materials, tools, and equipment on/off the company truck for each job.
• Clean the company truck upon return to the company.
• Travel with crew members to the client’s home to install the job.
• Excavating, digging, and backfilling.
• Prepare and clean the job sites.
• Follow all applicable safety guidelines at all times.
• Use power tools and hand tools at the job site.
• Install each job using company-approved and quality-driven methods.
• Must work in a moderate pace to ensure efficiency and quality.
• Appropriately represent the company.

Job Duties:

Requirements:

• Experience in trenching, excavating, push/helical piers, concrete work, post and pad replacement, sump pumps, encapsulation, and/or drainage is preferred but not mandatory.
• Have basic knowledge of hand tools, power tools and construction
• MUST have a valid driver’s license, a safe driving record, and reliable transportation
• Physical strength and endurance with the ability to safely lift up to 80 lbs.
• Regular and punctual attendance at the job locations
• Willingness to work in confined spaces and trenches.
• Ability to work long hours under a variety of weather conditions
• A positive attitude and an eagerness to learn
