Job summary

Sargent is searching for Laborers in the Piedmont-Triad area to learn construction from the ground up. No experience is required, and you’ll work outdoors with rakes, shovels, and other equipment while building a solid foundation in the trades.

The company offers strong benefits, an employee stock ownership plan, travel coverage and weekends at home. Travel may be up to 75% with lodging, mileage, and per diem provided, and training starts with safety-first culture.

Qualifications

• No experience required; suitable for entry-level.
• Must have a valid driver’s license.
• Willing to travel up to 75%.

Responsibilities

• Travel throughout the region to work on infrastructure projects.
• Perform manual labor using rakes, shovels, compactors and related equipment.
• Support site development, landfills, airports and utility projects.
• Travel expenses including lodging, mileage and per diem are covered; you’ll be home most weekends.

In these roles, you will be travelling throughout the region to work on jobs related to infrastructure projects including landfills, airports, site development, and many others.

Although these positions may require travel, Sargent pays for travel expenses including lodging, mileage, and per diem for meals - plus you will be home every weekend!
