• Perform manual labor tasks including excavating, trenching, and shoring around heavy equipment.
• Use hand tools to dig around existing utility structures to prevent damage.
• Load and unload equipment and materials; restock supplies as needed.
• Prepare sites to maximize the efficiency of construction work.
• Assist in placing underground pipes and conduits, measure, mark, join, seal, and bed underground pipes.
• Identify utilities and potential hazards; assist in manually digging and protecting dig crews.
• Maintain a clean and organized worksite, free from unnecessary hazards.
• Perform regular maintenance and cleaning on assigned vehicles and equipment.
• Adhere to all company safety policies and incident reporting procedures.
• Perform other responsibilities as requested by leadership.
