Job summary

Feeney Brothers Utility Services in Fall River, MA is seeking a Utility Construction Foreman to lead a 2-5 person crew in the safe installation of underground utilities, focusing on natural gas projects. You will ensure safety, quality, and timely project execution while mentoring team members.

Responsibilities include directing work, training, coordinating resources, interpreting blueprints, documenting progress, and communicating with customers and inspectors.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Valid driver's license.
• Experience in gas installation techniques and standards preferred.
• OSHA/OQ certifications.
• Vocational training in a relevant field is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Directly supervise a crew of 2-5 employees.
• Provide guidance, training, and performance feedback.
• Ensure crew compliance with safety and operational procedures.
• Plan and coordinate equipment and crews from start to finish, ensuring resources are in place and the job is completed safely and on time.
• Read and interpret plans to guide layout, sequencing, and pipe installation.
• Complete and maintain all required documentation, including timesheets, reports, and traceability records.
• Serve as the point of contact for customers, inspectors, subcontractors, and vendors.
• Inspect completed work to ensure conformance to specifications and local codes.
• Assist in placing underground pipes, operating power tools, and performing manual labor as needed.
