We are currently hiring Construction Laborers with a valid CDL license to join our team in Decatur, IL. As a Construction Laborer, you will be responsible for the installation of cured-in-place pipe (CIPP) for various municipal, industrial, storm, and sewer line rehab and repair projects. This position requires working with minimal oversight while still adhering to instructions closely.

The starting pay is $34.38-$38.22 per hour depending on location and local union rates.

What You’ll Do:

• Repair various types of sewer lines using specific products and processes
• Ensure pull-in tube is properly prepared for installation by examining D-Rings, chains, and attachment to pulling cable
• Install prepared tube using appropriate equipment such as a winch, backhoe, or crane
• Monitor gauges and indicators to ensure equipment functions properly
• Cure resin products using inflation tubes, banding boots, layflat, boiler hoses, etc.
• Learn and train on Insituform’s products, processes, safety procedures, installation techniques, and equipment
• Drive various vehicles to haul crews and equipment, from pickup trucks to tractor-trailers
• Perform setup and cleanup tasks at job sites and in the shop

What We Need From You:

• High School diploma or equivalent
• Experience as a Construction Laborer and/or Installation Technician is highly preferred
• OSHA certifications are a plus
• Valid driver’s license with a clean motor vehicle report
• Must possess a Class A or B CDL and meet Insituform’s motor vehicle standards (Hazmat endorsement is optional)
• Ability to wear a respirator and body harness for confined space entry
• Ability to lift/move up to 75 pounds and operate pneumatic, battery-powered, or electric tools
• Comfort working outdoors at job sites with moving vehicles and machinery, and exposure to fumes or airborne particles
• Must be able to travel weekly, potentially out of state
