Construction laborers work on construction project sites where they perform various physical tasks. Generally, the duties performed by construction laborers are shown in the job description example below:

• Clear the construction area and prepare it for the commencement of construction work
• Safely pack and store work materials as directed by the site supervisor
• Responsible for mixing and pumping concrete, sand, and grout
• Responsible for erecting and dismantling scaffolds and barricades
• Assist in loading and unloading of construction materials
• Assist in the purchase of minor construction materials like tape, binding wires, and twine
• Handle construction machines such as forklifts
