Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or related field.
• 2+ years of accounting experience in the construction industry.
• Experience with percentage-of-completion revenue recognition.
• Experience with subcontractor payments and job costing.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with estimating to upload new jobs and enter subcontracts.
• Track job progress, material quantities, and labor hours with project managers.
• Monitor budgets and explain variances between actual costs and estimates.
• Maintain detailed job cost records by line item, phase and cost type.
• Prepare owner billings based on project progress and quantities.
• Review subcontractor invoices and payments and obtain lien waivers.
• Generate DBE utilization reports where applicable.
• Monitor accounts receivable aging and follow up on past-due balances.
• Assist with month-end close and adjust estimated revenue and costs.
