Job summary

STRUCTURAL TECHNOLOGIES is offering a Summer 2027 Project Engineer Internship in the Washington DC area, supported by our VSL DC team in Manassas, VA.

You’ll assist with scheduling, estimating, budgeting, safety, quality control and client relations, gaining hands-on mentorship and exposure to construction project management through the PECD program. The internship involves extensive site travel and in-office work.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or related field.
• GPA 2.8 or higher.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

About the Team:

Our Summer 2027 Internship will be an in-office position supported by our VSL DC team located in Manassas, VA.

Work Travel:

This position will potentially require extensive travel! While our team is based in the Manassas area, they will require extensive site-based travel for the majority of the internship.

Minimum Qualifications:

• Bachelor's Degree- preference for Construction Management, Civil Engineering or related field of study.
• Cumulative grade point average of 2.8 or higher.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Exceptional documentation and organizational skills.
• Aptitude for solving problems.
• Reliable transportation from the office to jobsites.
