Job summary

Gilbane's Construction Intern Program offers hands-on experience supporting project staff on construction management projects and in district offices, with start dates in 2027 across multiple U.S. locations including Newark, NJ.

As an intern you will gain exposure to project engineering, scheduling, safety, change management, and document control while learning from seasoned professionals on active jobsites.

Qualifications

• Currently enrolled in Engineering, Construction Management or similar program.
• Prior exposure to construction industry is a plus.
• Or equivalent combination of education and experience.

Responsibilities

• Manage project document flow
• Take progress photos of jobsite
• Review and approve submittals
• Submit RFIs
• Handle change management process
• Participate in business unit office activities including orientation program, training sessions and peer group meetings
