Job summary

Gilbane Building Company is offering a nationwide Construction Intern program with in-person opportunities across multiple locations including Providence, RI. Interns will support project staff on construction management projects or in district offices and gain hands-on experience.

The role targets students in Construction Management, Civil Engineering or related fields, with exposure to the construction industry viewed as a plus.

Qualifications

• > Currently enrolled in Engineering, Construction Management or similar program.
• > Prior exposure to construction industry is a plus.
• > Or equivalent combination of education and experience.

Responsibilities

• Manage project document flow
• Take progress photos of jobsite
• Review and approve submittals
• Submit RFIs
• Handle change management process
• Participate in business unit office activities including orientation program, training sessions and peer group meetings
