Job summary

CDM Smith is looking for a Construction or Engineering Student Intern to gain hands‑on experience supporting exciting public, federal, and industrial projects!

As part of our construction management and engineering team, you’ll work alongside experienced professionals and get exposure to both field and office‑based project activities. This internship is a great opportunity to see how projects move from planning and documentation to construction in the field.

Qualifications

• Currently enrolled and pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in Construction, Engineering, or a related discipline is required.
• 10% or less travel
• An appropriate and valid driver’s license is required.

Responsibilities

• Support construction management teams with day-to-day project activities and coordination.
• Assist with construction inspections and field observations to help monitor project progress.
• Support construction managers with project documentation, reporting, and recordkeeping.
• Assist project engineers and project coordinators with documentation and general project support.
• Gain exposure to construction processes, project coordination, and engineering practices across a diverse range of projects.
