Job summary

DPR Construction (SurePods division) is seeking Construction Interns in Orlando, FL. This role supports project teams by assisting with planning, coordination, and documentation, applying classroom knowledge to real-world field tasks, and gaining hands-on experience in project delivery.

You will collaborate with project engineers, superintendents, and trade partners to help ensure quality, safety, and schedule compliance, while contributing to meetings, progress tracking, and reports.

Qualifications

• Prior internship, co-op, or related experience in construction, engineering, or a related field preferred.
• Strong teamwork and communication skills required.
• Ability to follow instructions and meet deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Assist project teams with daily field coordination and documentation of construction activities.
• Support project engineers in reviewing drawings, specifications, and submittals to identify scope and design requirements.
• Collect and organize data for project logs, daily reports, and safety records.
• Observe site operations to understand construction means, methods, and sequencing.
• Participate in project meetings and support preparation of agendas, minutes, and follow-up items.
• Assist with procurement tracking and materials management.
• Collaborate with team members to promote DPR Construction’s safety culture and continuous improvement mindset.

Job Summary
