Role Description

This is a full-time role for Construction Inspectors and Resident Engineers specializing in highway and transportation infrastructure projects in NJ, NY, CT, and PA. The role involves conducting and overseeing highway construction/maintenance projects, roadway inspections, bridge construction oversight, and managing transportation infrastructure projects. Responsibilities include comprehensive highway materials inspections, pavement construction management, and structural oversight of transportation-related facilities.

These positions are exclusively focused on highway and transportation infrastructure construction, requiring a minimum of 5 years of roadway and highway experience in construction and inspection. Project types include but are not limited to:

• Highway structural steel and concrete construction
• Asphalt paving, milling, and roadway rehabilitation
• Bridge construction and rehabilitation
• Storm water management systems and highway drainage
• Traffic control systems and highway signalization
• Roadway safety improvements and barrier installations/repairs
• Highway maintenance and emergency repair operations

Qualifications

• NICET and/or NETTCP certification, depending on jurisdiction
• TCC (Traffic Control Coordinator) and/or ATSSA certification, depending on jurisdiction
• ASI (American Society for Nondestructive Testing) or equivalent materials testing certification
• NJ SAT (Superpave Asphalt Technician) or equivalent pavement certification
• Transportation infrastructure site inspection and quality control skills
• Experience in highway construction inspection and asphalt technologies
• Strong organizational and communication skills
• Ability to work effectively in multi-disciplinary project teams
• Knowledge of respective DOTs specifications, highway codes, and transportation regulations
• Understanding of MUTCD (Manual on Uniform Traffic Control Devices) standards
• Knowledge of SiteManger software is a huge plus
