Responsibilities include attending pre-construction meetings, resolving plan interpretation differences, and preparing cost estimates. A valid driver's license is required to drive state vehicles on projects.

Attends pre-construction meetings and answers questions from contractors and attendees.
Conducts project reviews and coordinates inspections with inspectors and project managers.
Consults with Project Engineers, resident project representatives and contractors on work progress; reviews data.
Ensures materials are tested and meet required standards.
Ensures contractors build roadways, bridges and related highway structures in accordance with plans.
Monitors traffic control plans; inspects barricades and moves devices as needed.
Prepares monthly and final estimates.
Resolves differences in interpretation of plans and specifications.
Documents work progress and issues arising throughout scope of project.
Performs other job responsibilities as assigned.
