An established industry player is seeking Construction Inspectors to oversee and document various construction projects across the state. This role involves performing field inspections, conducting material tests, and ensuring compliance with safety standards. Inspectors will need to obtain several certifications and be prepared to work flexible hours, including nights. Summary
Construction Inspectors inspect, observe, and document construction and maintenance projects; performing tests on soils and materials. Work is performed under the supervision of a Project Engineer. In most cases, an Inspectors day to day direct supervisor may be a clients direct employee. Construction Inspectors have many categories that range from an entry level inspector to a senior inspector. All Inspectors are required to travel and be available to work in any part of the State, subject to change of assignments, as work requires. We work when the contractor works. Inspectors are required to have a valid driver's license and reliable transportation. Inspectors must also be able to work night shift when required.
