Traffic Planning & Design, Inc. in Chambersburg, PA is hiring Construction Inspectors (multiple levels) with NICET preferred. Ideal candidate has at least 3 years of inspection experience, strong work ethic, and the ability to manage multiple projects as part of a team.

Duties include daily on-site inspection of roadway work, drainage, paving and bridges, ADA compliance, and traffic signal inspections; documenting observations; measuring quantities; and preparing as-built drawings.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years of construction inspection experience.
• NICET certification I-IV preferred.
• Valid driver’s license.
• Bridge construction experience is a plus.

Responsabilités

• Provide daily inspection of construction work to ensure compliance with plans and specs (roadway earthwork, drainage, paving, foundations, decks, etc.).
• Document all on-site observations in daily inspection reports and other required reports.
• Measure and record quantities for payment.
• Prepare as-built drawings.
• Serve as on-site project representative.
