Position Overview

Join us as a Construction Inspector III on active roadway and bridge construction projects. You will work independently on less complex activities and assist experienced inspectors on complex assignments. Responsibilities include detailed documentation, communication, problem resolution, safety adherence, and maintaining certifications. Must be physically capable of field inspections and willing to work in various weather conditions, including night shifts and varied schedules.

Responsibilities
  1. Documentation and Reporting: Prepare detailed reports, record daily forms, review work for accuracy, maintain records, measure quantities, conduct tests, and submit timesheets and expense reports on time.
  2. Communication and Coordination: Effectively communicate with clients, contractors, staff, and supervisors; resolve problems at the lowest level.
  3. Inspection and Compliance: Perform field inspections, review safety daily, ensure OSHA standards are met, and verify compliance with industry and client standards.
Qualifications
  • Minimum 2 years of relevant construction-related experience.
  • High school diploma or GED.
  • Ability to understand construction plans, specifications, and procedures.
  • Basic math skills, including geometry and trigonometry.
  • Fluent reading, writing, and communication skills.
  • Ability to work as part of a team and complete reports manually and digitally.
Licenses and Certifications
  • Valid Driver’s License.
  • Ability to pass and maintain required certifications.
