An established industry player is seeking a dedicated Erosion and Stormwater Construction Inspector II to join their Public Works team. In accordance with City policy, this position is deemed safety-sensitive. Job duties include, but are not limited to, the following:
Required Qualifications:
VOCATIONAL / EDUCATIONAL REQUIREMENT: Requires Associate’s degree, vocational technical degree, or any equivalent combination of education and experience in civil engineering, environmental engineering, environmental science, or a closely related field.
EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENT: In addition to satisfying the vocational/education standard, this position requires a minimum of two years of related, full-time equivalent experience.
SPECIAL CERTIFICATIONS AND LICENSES: Requires a valid driver’s license and a driving record that is in compliance with City Driving Standards; Certification as a Dual Erosion and Sediment Control and Stormwater Inspector within 6 months of completing the DEQ courses.
SPECIAL REQUIREMENTS: Employees may be expected to work hours in excess of their normally scheduled hours in response to short-term department needs and/or City-wide emergencies.
