Qualifications

• High School diploma required; bachelor's degree preferred.
• 5–10 years inspection/construction experience preferred.
• Certifications such as ICC, MTRB, and ACI preferred; required for special inspections.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office, Adobe, iPads, and digital cameras.
• Ability to read and interpret plans and specifications.
• Strong communication and customer service skills.
• Ability to work outdoors in varying weather and conditions.
• Self-starter with initiative and good problem solving.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Inspect projects to ensure compliance with codes and specifications.
• Record on-site activities and prepare daily, monthly reports and logs.
• Interpret maps, specifications, plans, diagrams, and contract specs.
• Coordinate with contractors, consultants, developers, and staff.
• Perform material testing on-site as required for compliance and acceptance.
• Respond to public inquiries efficiently and resolve complaints.
• Ensure BMP inspections and reports are maintained where required.
• Read schedules and understand ongoing work; identify delays.
• Handle special projects as requested.
