Job summary

Forsgren Associates, a newly acquired Apex Company, seeks a Construction Inspector to oversee road construction, mass grading, excavation and bridge projects in Idaho Falls, ensuring work meets contract plans and specifications.

Responsibilities include interpreting plans for contractors, preparing inspection records and reports, identifying contract changes, assisting with change orders, and traveling to project sites as required.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of practices and equipment on construction projects, particularly roadway grading, paving and bridge operations.
• Ability to work independently and take initiative.
• A clean driving record.
• ITD IQP qualifications or willingness to take required exams preferred.

Your Responsibilities As a Construction Inspector

• Good knowledge of the practices used, and the equipment required on construction projects, particularly in the areas of roadway grading, paving and bridge operations.
• Strong ability to work independently and take initiative.
• A clean driving record.
• Idaho Transportation Department (ITD) IQP qualifications or willingness to take required exams to obtain them preferred.
