Job summary

CSEngineering is seeking a Construction Inspector to support inspection, surveillance, quality assurance, and documentation for complex DoD construction and renovation projects in Colorado Springs, CO. The role requires interpreting plans, verifying workmanship, and documenting progress.

The ideal candidate has 3+ years of construction experience, a degree in Construction Management/Technology, and strong English communication skills, with responsibilities spanning site inspections to project

Qualifications

  • Degree in Construction Management or Construction Technology.
  • At least three (3) years of extensive construction and/or contract-related experience.
  • Experience inspecting construction materials, workmanship, utilities, and building systems.
  • Ability to interpret construction drawings, specifications, schedules, and contract requirements.
  • Knowledge of construction safety practices, inspection methods, construction trades, and applied mathematics.
  • Strong oral and written communication skills in English.
  • Location: Colorado Springs, CO 80930

Responsibilities

  • Perform onsite inspections of construction projects to verify compliance with contract requirements, drawings, specifications, schedules, codes, and safety standards.
  • Monitor construction progress, sequencing, workmanship, materials, equipment installation, and contractor quality-control activities.
  • Review contractor submittals, progress schedules, payment requests, and project documentation.
  • Interpret plans and specifications, identify conflicts or field issues, and provide technical recommendations to support resolution.
  • Inspect delivered and installed materials and equipment; document nonconforming work and support corrective-action verification.
  • Maintain daily inspection logs, safety observations, formal reports, deficiency records, and records of field changes and project discussions.
  • Participate in preconstruction meetings, progress meetings, final inspections, and project closeout activities.

CSEngineering is seeking a Construction Inspector to support inspection, surveillance, quality assurance, and documentation for complex construction and renovation projects at a Department of Defense installation. The ideal candidate will have hands‑on experience interpreting plans and specifications, verifying workmanship, and documenting construction progress.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
