Job summary

Kaiser Permanente seeks a trainee construction inspector to gain knowledge and perform periodic inspections on diverse projects under supervision. You will learn to review drawings, observe site conditions, and document findings for the team.

You will receive on-the-job training in basic inspection tasks, reporting, and data collection while building familiarity with construction guides, manuals, and terminology used across projects.

Qualifications

• Minimum four (4) years of experiences in commercial or institutional building projects in testing, inspection or observation of construction.
• Associates degree in Engineering, Architecture, Construction Management, Business Administration, Computer Sciences, or related field OR two years of related experience.
• Certifications such as ICC/DSA are preferred per the posting.

Responsibilities

• Provide guidance and coordination with project teams while following defined parameters.
• Assist with project planning, scheduling, and data collection under supervision.
• Support vendor relationship management and document control processes.
