Job summary

The Perry Group, Ltd., a CDM Smith company, is seeking a Health & Safety Professional to oversee field safety on client project sites across the United States. This role focuses on implementing safety programs, conducting trainings, and ensuring compliance with the PGL Occupational Safety & Health Policy Manual and site-specific plans.

You will lead safety orientations, perform incident investigations, manage documentation, and produce monthly safety reports.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent plus eight (8) years of relevant experience.
• Associate degree plus five (5) years of relevant experience.
• Bachelor's degree plus two (2) years of relevant experience. The degree must be in Safety Management, Construction Management, Engineering, or related discipline.
• OSHA30 certification.

Responsibilities

• Provides overall health and safety direction on assigned project sites.
• Administers the site safety program and conducts training.
• Documents incidents and investigates root causes to reduce hazards.
• Plans and implements safety trainings and writes safety plans.
• Ensures compliance with PGL, client, and project safety policies at the site.
• Produces monthly safety reports and maintains official documentation.
• Conducts daily site inspections and supports safety program improvements.
