Job summary

Knife River Corporation is seeking dedicated General Laborers to support construction sites for the 2026 season, with work starting in Spring 2026. The role involves assisting with various site tasks, safety adherence, and potential equipment operation across multiple sites in Utah.

Qualifications

• 1–3 months verifiable experience preferred.
• Must possess a valid class C state driver’s license and have an acceptable driving record per Knife River Fleet policy.
• Regular attendance required.

Responsibilities

• Follow safety policies and perform site tasks as directed.
• Measure distance from grade stakes, drive stakes, and stretch line.
• Use power and hand tools for bolts, nails, alignment, and blocking under forms.
• Signal equipment operators to align, move, and adjust machinery to grade specifications.
• Level earth using a pick or shovel.
• Perform flagging duties as needed.
• May operate small equipment such as a bobcat, tractor, or roller and move between sites.
• Finish freshly poured cement or concrete using a float, trowel, or screed.
• Maintain positive working relationships and work safely to ensure quality results.
