Job summary

United Rentals, Inc. is seeking a General Laborer (Matting Solutions) in Winnie, TX. You will support service capabilities by performing labor tasks on construction and right-of-way projects, contributing to safe and efficient site work.

Requirements include a high school diploma, valid driver's license, and at least 1 year in construction with strong physical stamina. Travel and overtime are expected as projects demand it.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Valid driver's license.
• 1+ year of construction experience.
• Excellent physical stamina and dexterity.
• Willingness to travel for projects and overtime.

Responsibilities

• Install erosion and sediment control devices.
• Drive wood stakes into the ground with a sledgehammer.
• Apply grass seed, fertilizer and lime to work areas; install straw blanket where needed.
• Clean track equipment and remove mud from roads and accesses.
• Install T-posts and safety fencing; lay geo-textile fabric under aggregates.
• Load and unload construction materials and tools.
• Spot heavy equipment during operations.
