Muza Sheet Metal is seeking a Construction General Laborer / Pre-Apprentice (Shop) to join our expanding team. No experience required. Training and tools are provided to help you start a career in metal fabrication and installing exterior sheet metal on new construction builds.

This entry-level role offers a path into our Apprenticeship Program, with pay starting at $21.60 per hour and benefits. Work in our Wisconsin shop and on job sites, Monday to Friday.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or HSED (required for apprenticeship)
• Valid driver's license and clean driving record
• Strong work ethic and attendance
• Ability to communicate effectively with customers and co-workers
• Sheet Metal experience preferred

Responsibilities

• Assisting Sheet Metal Journeymen and Apprentices in daily job duties, both in shop and on jobsites
• Assembling and fabricating flashing, panels, and ductwork
• Cleaning and daily maintenance of shop and jobsite
• Daily usage of power tools and hand tools
• Installing exterior sheet metal on new construction builds
• Assist with building maintenance
• Cutting, measuring, bending, and assembling sheet metal
• Assist in shop fabrication process and in the field installations at job sites

We’re hiring a Construction General Laborer / Pre-Apprentice (Shop) to join our expanding team. No experience required. Training and tools are provided.

This position comes with the ability to transition into our long-standing, highly regarded Apprenticeship Program.
