Groundworks, LLC in Knoxville, TN is seeking a Construction General Laborer - Installer to join our field crew. You will perform hands-on installation, assist with product installations under supervision, and help keep job sites safe, clean, and organized.

The role requires physical stamina, the ability to lift up to 50 lbs, a valid driver’s license, and willingness to travel to residential or commercial sites. We provide training, tools, boots, and paths for advancement.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of general construction labor tasks and safety practices.
• Must have a valid, non-restrictive driver’s license.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and perform physically demanding work.
• Experience in installation or construction is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Perform general construction labor tasks including digging, back-filling trenches, and site clean-up.
• Assist with the installation of products and services under supervision.
• Load, carry, and deliver heavy materials (up to 50 lbs) to and from job sites.
• Enter confined spaces such as crawl spaces and basements to perform repairs.
• Work outdoors in various weather conditions while maintaining safety standards.
• Follow instructions closely and adhere to company policies, including safety and workplace conduct.
• Foster teamwork by building positive relationships and supporting team goals.
• Maintain professionalism, integrity, and uphold the company’s reputation.
• Assist with additional tasks as assigned by supervisors to ensure project success.
• It is an essential function of this job that the employee regularly and reliably reports to work on time each working day.
