Job summary

JE Dunn Construction is seeking a General Laborer 1 to support skilled trades on varied construction projects including new builds and renovations. You will assist with material handling, site clean-up, and equipment operation, while adhering to safety standards and company policies.

Ideal candidates have 0-2 years of commercial construction experience, strong reliability, and a can-do attitude. Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds and be available for non-traditional hours as project needs

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED preferred, with apprentice/technical training encouraged.
• 0-2 years of commercial construction experience preferred.
• Ability to perform tasks safely and accurately.
• Strong communication and reliability required.
• Willingness to work non-traditional hours and lift up to 50 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Load, unload, and distribute materials as assigned.
• Assist in dismantling and transporting construction materials.
• Collect and dispose of jobsite trash daily.
• General cleaning and trash removal for jobsite trailer.
• Operate pumps for dewatering needs.
• Maintain tools and equipment and organize jobsite areas.
• Ensure PPE compliance and following OSHA safety standards.
• Support other trades as directed.
