Job summary

JE Dunn Construction is seeking a General Laborer 2 in Tampa, FL to support skilled trades on new construction, renovations and other project types. Responsibilities include loading, unloading, material handling, and site cleanup.

You will assist with demo operations, maintain PPE compliance, and help with gate duty and MSDS usage. The role requires ability to lift 50 lbs, 2+ years of commercial construction experience preferred, and willingness to work non-traditional hours.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED preferred; relevant experience considered.
• 2+ years of commercial construction experience preferred.
• Must be able to lift at least 50 pounds.
• Willing to work non-traditional hours to meet project needs.
• Reliable transportation required.
• Comfortable working at heights, in trenches, and in varied environments.

Responsibilities

• Assist other skilled trades by loading, unloading, and distributing materials as assigned.
• Assist in dismantling and transporting construction materials.
• Collect and dispose of trash on and around the jobsite daily.
• Perform general cleaning and trash removal for the jobsite trailer.
• Operate and maintain concrete forming tools and equipment.
• Follow safety standards and PPE requirements; adhere to OSHA guidelines.
