Job summary

RG HOME IMPROVEMENT is seeking workers with construction know‑how to perform a variety of on‑site tasks in the New York area. The role involves reading plans, laying out openings, guiding equipment, and finishing concrete and surfaces.

Responsibilities include erecting scaffolding, applying caulking, grinding and polishing surfaces, and demolishing or dismantling structures as needed. The company reserves the right to modify duties at any time.

Responsibilities

• Reads plans, instructions, or specifications to determine work activities.
• Measures, marks, or records openings or distances to layout areas where construction work will be performed.
• Signals construction equipment operators to facilitate alignment, movement, and adjustment of machinery.
• Mixes, pours, spreads, smoothen and finishes concrete or cement.
• Erects or dismantles scaffolding, shoring, braces, traffic barricades, ramps, or other temporary structures.
• Sprays materials such as water, steam, paint, or stucco through hose to clean, coat, or seal surfaces.
• Applies caulking compounds by hand or with caulking gun to seal crevices.
• Grinds, sands, or polishes surfaces such as concrete, marble, terrazzo, or wood flooring.
• Demolishes buildings, saws lumber, dismantles forms, removes projections from concrete, mounts pipe hangers, and cuts and attaches insulating material.
