St. Louis County is seeking a qualified individual for a supervisory role in construction management. This position oversees construction crews, coordinates project schedules and ensures compliance with building standards. Applicants should have trades schooling or equivalent experience, with a minimum of five years in the field, including a year in a lead capacity.
The typical starting salary range is between $26.70 - $32.04 hourly, depending on qualifications, experience, and budget considerations. Completion of trades schooling or apprenticeship and five years of experience in structural maintenance or rough carpentry, including one year in a lead role, or equivalent experience.
Possession of a valid Driver's License.
A selection committee will evaluate applicants based on education, experience, responses to questions, references, and other relevant information. Only the most qualified candidates will be interviewed. Candidates must score at least 70 on the interview to be considered for appointment. After interviews, top candidates will be certified to the Department Director for final decision.
Conditional offers are contingent upon passing a urinalysis screening for illegal drugs, paid for by the County.
