Job summary

Cleary Building Corp. is hiring for a Construction Foreman in Training in Clinton, IL. This program blends hands-on field work with mentorship to prepare you for a Foreman role.

You will lead a small crew, read blueprints, operate equipment, and handle project organization while training across leadership and scheduling topics. Year-round, full-time outdoor work is expected.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years of prior building trades experience.
• Leadership or crew management experience preferred.
• Must be at least 21 years old.
• Valid driver’s license required.
• Comfortable working at heights and in all weather conditions.

The Job

• Assist in leading a crew of 3–4 construction laborers
• Construct pre-engineered post-frame structures from start to finish
• Read and interpret blueprints and building plans
• Learn to organize job sites and supervise crews
• Operate hand and power tools, aerial lifts, and other construction equipment
• Work from heights up to 35 feet on ladders and aerial work platforms
• Drive a one-ton crew cab truck, haul trailers, and operate skid steers
• Work outdoors in various weather conditions
• Reliable, full-time, year-round construction work
