Job summary

Harrison Western Construction Corp. in Lakewood, CO seeks an experienced Construction Foreman to lead the jobsite, supervise crews and ensure safety, accuracy and timeliness of projects.

The role covers heavy equipment operation, safety leadership, daily logs and task coordination with the superintendent. The ideal candidate has strong utility-construction background, survey experience, welding skills, and a valid driver’s license.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years' experience in utility construction.
• Ability to take direction from supervision.
• Experience with Construction survey.
• Welding experience preferred.
• OSHA training preferred.
• Must have a valid driver's license, good driving record and reliable transportation.
• Recognize hazards and safety risks.
• Familiar with equipment and tools required for the position.
• Ability to lift 50 lbs regularly.
• Preferred supervisory experience.

Responsibilities

• Take instructions for daily tasks from the Superintendent.
• Operate heavy equipment such as excavators, loaders and forklifts.
• Operate auger boring equipment; TBM, MTBM and Pipe Ram experience a plus.
• Lead Safety and Toolbox meetings with crew.
• Ensure all work plans and JHA's are covered before tasks start.
• Complete daily log of work performed.
• Inspect work progress, equipment and sites to ensure specs are met.
• Supervise crew members.
• Perform safety inspections of work area.
• Train personnel as needed.
• Out-of-State travel may be required up to 30%.
• Majority of UIT’s work is in the Colorado Front Range area.
• Per diem starting after 75 miles from the Lakewood office.

Position Summary:

We are looking for an experienced Construction Foreman to join our growing team. The Foreman is responsible for leading the jobsite and crew to ensure the job is completed safely, accurately and on time.

Compensation and Benefits:
