Job summary

Gleeds is seeking a Business Support Analyst in Atlanta to lead financial modeling, budgeting, and reporting for construction activities. You will build capital budgets, analyze variances, and produce executive-ready insights across projects and the Engineering & Construction organization.

The role emphasizes data-driven decision making with Power BI dashboards, SQL/Python analytics, and cross-functional collaboration to improve processes and reporting standards.

Qualifications

• Advanced Excel and financial reporting experience.
• Strong ability to analyze costs, trends, and variances to drive decisions.
• Ability to present complex data clearly to executives.

Responsibilities

• Develop capital budgets and forecasts for the New Business project portfolio using financial/operational models.
• Compile and interpret financial and non-financial data to determine past performance and future results.
• Conduct detailed variance analysis of financial results and prepare explanations for reports.
• Perform extensive cost analysis and identify cost reduction opportunities; propose recommendations to leadership.
• Define and implement new metrics and develop insightful reports for proactive performance tracking.
• Generate monthly capital reports and insights for CEO and executive reviews.
• Translate complex analyses into clear insights for leadership decision-making.
• Design, develop, and maintain Power BI reports and dashboards for operational and executive audiences.
• Utilize SQL, Python, or other tools to analyze large datasets across platforms.
• Support staffing, budgeting, and forecasting for Construction Operations.
• Create visual presentations of financial data and production metrics.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to improve processes and data issues.
• Complete ad hoc analyses to support business needs.
