Job summary

Cuhaci & Peterson is seeking a Construction Field Surveyor to assist design teams during the construction administration phase. The role emphasizes on-site representation, monitoring construction document compliance, and performing as-built verifications.

The candidate should have a relevant bachelor’s degree or equivalent and be comfortable traveling to multiple project sites, including overnight stays when needed. Strong communication skills are essential.

The Construction Field Surveyor assists with the firm’s design teams in the construction administration phase.

Requirements

• Equivalent of a bachelor’s degree in architecture/engineering/Technical degree related to the Architecture/construction industry/Construction Project Management/Superintendent

or

• Inspection services experience. MS Office Suites to include MS Project, Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.

Responsibilities/Skills

• Monitors project for construction document compliance.
• Good communication skills, both written and verbal are required.
• Provides existing conditions verification and as-built services (pre and post construction).
• Provides on-site representation services.
• Travel to various project sites from local sites to more remote sites in other states including staying overnight as needed/warranted.

Must be able to sit and/or stand for long periods of time, able to climb ladders, able to handle stressful situations and multi-tasking, able to work under time constraints, long hours may be required.
