Job description

Construction Director

Provide executive leadership across construction operations, ensuring projects are delivered safely, on schedule, within budget, and to the highest quality standards. Lead and develop project executives, project managers, superintendents, and operational teams while fostering accountability and continuous improvement. Oversee project portfolio performance, financial forecasting, resource management, risk mitigation, and operational metrics. Partner with executive leadership to execute business objectives, operational initiatives, and expansion strategies. Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, owners, architects, engineers, developers, and trade partners. Support business development and preconstruction activities, including project pursuits, presentations, interviews, and client engagement. Champion safety, operational excellence, innovation, and the adoption of systems and technologies that improve project delivery.

The successful applicant will have extensive leadership experience within commercial construction operations. They will have proven success overseeing multiple projects, offices, or business units simultaneously. They will have strong financial acumen with experience managing budgets, forecasting, profit and loss, and operational performance metrics. They will have demonstrated experience leading and developing large project management and field operations teams. They will have strong client-facing skills with the ability to build lasting relationships and secure repeat business. They will have experience collaborating with business development and preconstruction teams on strategic growth initiatives. They will have comprehensive knowledge of construction management systems, scheduling platforms, budgeting tools, and operational reporting software. They will have excellent communication, leadership, organizational, and decision-making skills. A bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or a related field is preferred.

Base Salary: $165,000 - $200,000. Executive-level leadership position with significant influence on company strategy and growth.
