Qualifications

• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Excellent organizational, analytical, and critical-thinking abilities.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, OneNote).
• Experience with estimating software and construction takeoff tools preferred.
• Ability to read and interpret construction documents and drawings.
• Detail-oriented with strong mathematical and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet tight deadlines.
• Self-motivated and capable of working independently.
• Experience in construction estimating or a related field preferred.

Responsibilities

• Prepare detailed takeoffs, bid proposals, and pricing spreadsheets using estimating software and tools.
• Develop preliminary budgets, conceptual estimates, and detailed project estimates for jobs of varying size and complexity.
• Create visual aids and documentation to clearly communicate project scope and pricing.
• Obtain and analyze pricing from material vendors and suppliers.
• Review construction documents, including addenda and amendments, and update estimates accordingly.
